God Is God and You Are Not
Who is in control of your life? Romans 9:15-23 reminds us that God's mercy belongs to Him alone. It is not a right we are born with but a gift He chooses to give. That truth cuts against everything our culture tells us about self-reliance and personal freedom.
Pastor Josh challenges us to stop striving against our Maker. Like clay in the potter's hands (Isaiah 64:8), we were created by God and for God. The moment we start telling the Potter He made a mistake, we are on dangerous ground.
The call is simple but costly. Luke 9:23 says to deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Christ. Die to yourself so you can truly live. Now is the time to pick a side.
