The Spiritual Battle: Building Boundaries Against Sin
The battle we face isn't against flesh and blood—it's spiritual. This Sunday, we dove deep into Romans 7:13-15, exploring why we sometimes do the very things we hate and struggle with the sin we claim to reject.
Here's the truth: as Christians, we're no longer "in the flesh" but we still have flesh "in us." We're saints who sin, not sinners anymore. The law reveals our sin, but only Jesus defeats it. Religion says "work harder, do more." True Christianity says "Jesus already won—it's finished."
The question we must ask ourselves: Do we truly reject and disapprove of sin, or have we started accepting and approving it? It's time to set up spiritual boundaries—a "boma" to protect our relationship with Christ. Stop justifying. Stop accepting what God hates. Die to sin every time it shows up.
The choice is yours. The time is now.
